Today we will start a Ho Chi Minh City tour visiting the Thien Hau Temple, followed by the lively Binh Tay Market. After lunch, visit the War Remnants or History Museum and the former Presidential Palace. From there, the Notre Dame Cathedral, Old Saigon Post Office, Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), Continental Hotel, Opera House, and City Hall are all within walking distance and nice choices for a free stroll. 08.00 AM: Our driver and car will pick you up at the hotel for transfer to Cai Be.

Boarding at Cai Be at noon. Welcome drink, Introduction to the ship and crew, and check into the cabins.

Departure towards Cho Lach on the Tien Giang River.

Lunch while en route. Rest on the deck.

Turning into Cho Lach canal for 30 minutes through the traffic of sand and rice barges, in a scenery of fruit drying facilities and wooden ship building yards.

Visit of a village on the banks of river Mang Thit, an opportunity to appreciate the way of life and hospitality of the local inhabitants. Visit the orchard or rice fields nearby.

Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Rest on the deck enjoying the sunset. The crew will serve dinner while the Bassac is cruising Mang Thit River.

The Bassac sets anchor just downstream from the little Tra On floating market, for the night.

You may get up for breakfast as early as 06:30, as the ship is resuming its cruise to the Tra On floating market. The ship then departs towards Can Tho.

Arrival at Cai Rang floating market, check out and transfer onto a local boat to visit the floating market, the nearby arroyos and gardens and return to the Ninh Kieu pier where We’ll take you to the luxurious colonial-style Victoria Can Tho Resort, situated on the banks of the Mekong. Enjoy an afternoon of free time lounging by the pool, or as an optional extra indulge in spa treatments. Overnight in Can Tho.

Today you travel back to Ho Chi Minh City, where your private car and guide will be at your disposal until it’s time for us to say ‘bon voyage’. Depending on the time of your flight, your private car will transfer you to Tan Son Nhat Airport for international flights or a domestic extension.
