Cancellation Policy

We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event
We will charge a cancellation fee of 75% if booking is cancelled 2 days or less before the event
We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 3 days or less before the event

Cancellation due to bad weather

Few times a year we might need to cancel your trip on a last minute notification by the local authorities. We always inform our travellers personally & directly in case of cancellation, where it maybe cancel announcement or on last minute notification it might be sometimes hard to reach you directly. Please feel to contact us directly on our hotline in case we didn’t had the change to contact you. Our team is here to assist you further with your amend travel plan, please be patience as we trying to find direct solutions for all our travellers at that moment. Of course those kind of situations we regret, but please remember it’s a decision token by the local authorities for safety matters, we would like to thank you for understanding in advance.

If the cancellation be announced by the Management Board of Halong Bay or cruise company, depend on the timing of the cancellation, following policies will be applied:
Before departure from Hanoi to Halong Bay (none of the services has been used): 100% refund.
During the trip (some services have been used: transfer, lunch, day trip, hotel in Halong, etc.): used services will be charged, the rest will be refunded.
The trip be cut down from 2 nights to 1 night, tourists will be charged a 2 days/1 night trip, plus other used services, the rest will be refunded.
The final cost will be confirmed by your travel consultant via email. In all cases, please contact us directly for any urgent help. We are here to support you with all of our best!

If our travellers are on board, please follow up the instructions by your cruise tourguide, manager. We will do everything where possible to assist you to continue your trip further for the days after. Direct transportation form the harbor or planned transportation might be delayed!

Children Policy

• Free of charge for 01 Child under 5 years old – sharing seat on the bus with parents
• Children from 5 to 12 years old will be charged 75% of adult rate
• Children above 12 years old will be consider as adult

Itinerary

Paradise Explorer Day Cruise - Ha Long Bay

Hanoi – Ha Long Bay – Hanoi (L)

07:30 – Meet us at the ground floor of our offices in central Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem District. From here we will head to Halong Bay across the magnificent Red River Delta, taking in sights of traditional farming along the way.
10:30 – We are greeted in Halong Bay by the glorious picture of the Paradise Explorer Day Cruise awaiting us in the water. We board the ship and explore its intimate surroundings before setting off into the beauty ahead of us.
12:00 – 13:00 – A delicious lunch will be served in the dining room as we pass some of Halong’s most distinctive islets. Enjoy local flavors while taking in stunning panoramas of the bay through the restaurant windows.
13:00 – 14:00 – Relax on board until we reach Sung Sot Cave – Halong’s biggest and most beautiful limestone cavern. Our guide will take us around the stalactites and stalagmites here, explaining how they came to form and the local legends attached to them over the years.
14:30 – 15:30 – Return to the Paradise Explorer and sit back as we make our way to Luon Cave. Once here, you will be able to kayak* or take a wooden sampan boat through the gorgeous surroundings of this famous wet cave, giving you a chance to see the unique geology of Halong at close quarters.
15:30 – 16:15 – We make our final stop of the day tour at Soi Sim Island, where a gorgeous white sand beach and excellent vistas of the bay are offered up to all passengers.
16:20 – 17:20 – Re-board the Paradise Explorer and relax on the sundeck in the splendid atmosphere of late afternoon in Halong. Our chef will lead a cooking class on the sundeck at this time, or you have the option of booking in for a spa treatment at Le Parfum Spa*.
17:30 – We dock back at the mainland and the bus will take us from here to Hanoi, where we arrive in the evening time.
20:00 – The Paradise Explorer One Day Cruise ends its day at your hotel in Hanoi. Thank you kindly for joining us and we hope to see you in Halong Bay in the future!

We found expectations of our travellers very important, therefore we daily monitor the cruise services to guarantee the quality & service. If we are not sure about our set standards we will have the right to amend your booked cruise option to similar service on last-minute notification without any extra cost for the traveller. There will be no refund for amending the booking in the same price category.

3. The cancellation decision made by Management Board of Halong Bay on the day of the trip in case of bad weather conditions as strong wind or storm might occur on last minute notification.
