Departing from either Hanoi or Cat Ba Island, this tour takes you deep into the heart of Lan Ha Bay – a quieter and equally stunning extension of Halong Bay. Glide past the ancient Cai Beo fishing village, kayak through hidden lagoons and mysterious caves, swim in pristine waters, and enjoy a cooking class on a floating fish farm. This is the perfect combination of natural beauty, cultural discovery, and fun activities!

Itinerary

05:30 – Pick-up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter (for guests departing from Hanoi). Transfer to Got Harbour, then take a speedboat to Cai Vieng Harbour. Continue by bus to Ben Beo Pier.
08:30 – For guests staying in Cat Ba Town, pick-up from your hotel or at our office at No. 168, 1/4 Street, then head to Ben Beo Pier.
08:50 – Arrive at Ben Beo Pier. Meet your guide and receive entrance tickets.
09:00 – Board the boat and begin cruising through Lan Ha Bay, passing by Cai Beo Fishing Village, one of the oldest and most traditional fishing communities in Northern Vietnam.
11:00 – Kayaking adventure through Dark and Bright Caves, a peaceful, protected lagoon perfect for paddling and nature watching. Keep your eyes out for the rare Cat Ba Langur (Golden-headed monkey).
12:30 – Enjoy a Vietnamese lunch on board while relaxing amid the stunning limestone scenery between Lan Ha Bay and Halong Bay. Vegetarian options available.
13:30 – Continue cruising to Ba Trai Dao Beach, a serene and secluded spot perfect for swimming and relaxing.
14:30 – Jump off the boat for a refreshing swim at Ba Trai Dao – one of the most beautiful and least crowded beaches in the area.
15:00 – Visit a local fish farm and discover how fishermen live and raise fish on floating homes. Join a Vietnamese cooking class right on the bay and try your hand at making traditional dishes.
15:30 – Begin cruising back to the harbor. Enjoy the stunning sunset views from the boat with optional drinks available.
16:00 – 16:30 – Drop-off at your hotel in Cat Ba Town.
20:30 – 21:00 – For Hanoi-bound guests, transfer back to Hanoi Old Quarter. Tour ends.

The rate for children applicable for one child (01) going with two adults in the trip.
- FOC for under 4 years – old children, sharing with their parent.
- Charge 75% for children from 4 to 8 years – old, sharing with their parent.
- Charge 100% for children from 9 years – old, charge the same as adult.
- If you are a family of two adults and two children or 3 children. So you only have one (01) child paying with The Children Policy. The next child will have to pay as adult rate because we need to organize tour with enough seat and meal for your family.
